It represents the beginning of a planned collection dedicated to animals, but which ended up becoming a singular piece, at least for now. The raven, a figure that has always fascinated me, is depicted with completely white eyes, suggesting a vision beyond the physical – a connection between the material and spiritual worlds. As well as the connection of various cultures with ravens and the spirit world, or world of the dead.
